1. How "each part passes, but the combination does not" happens

Cab air conditioning on agricultural and construction machinery runs continuously in high ambient temperatures, dust and strong vibration. In day-to-day replacement and repair work, the problem is rarely "it will not fit" — it is "it fits, but it does not work well". Three patterns account for most cases:

  • Heat-exchange mismatch: the condenser and evaporator do not match in heat-exchange capacity, so actual cooling capacity falls short of the design value;
  • Drive mismatch: compressor displacement or operating voltage does not suit the original system, causing frequent cycling or protective shutdowns;
  • Air-delivery mismatch: blower airflow and static pressure are insufficient, discharge air temperature does not come down, and the cab ends up unevenly cooled.

The common thread is that every individual part meets its own spec, yet the combination does not hold up. And when parts are replaced one at a time, the customer has little chance to judge the combination before it is installed — which is exactly the problem a matched set is meant to solve.

2. Our approach: match against one set of duty parameters first, then verify the complete set

A matched set is not four components placed on the same quotation. It is two steps:

Step one: select against one set of duty parameters. The heat-exchange area of the condenser and evaporator, the displacement and operating voltage of the compressor, and the airflow and static pressure of the blower are cross-checked against the same set of operating parameters rather than chosen separately from individual spec sheets.

Step two: assemble the set and verify it. Once the components are matched and assembled into a complete system, the set is verified before delivery to confirm that its behaviour under the actual working conditions matches the selection criteria; only then does it move into supply. Typical verification dimensions include:

  • Cooling performance: whether discharge air temperature and the cab cooldown curve meet the selection target;
  • Compressor operation: whether start-stop behaviour is normal and running current stays in a reasonable range;
  • Airflow and static pressure: whether delivered airflow and pressure satisfy the cab's outlet layout;
  • Interfaces and sealing: whether hose routing, interface dimensions and sealing match the customer's installation conditions.

Where a combination does not pass verification, we adjust the configuration and verify again rather than shipping it as is. To be clear, the purpose of this approach is not to require customers to buy a complete set — it is to put every component in a position where the parameters line up, so that repeat rework from "the part was replaced but it still does not work" is reduced, along with the risk of one mismatched component damaging the others.

3. Selection criteria for the four core components

What makes a matched set work is that the selection basis can be checked. We match component by component against the following dimensions:

4. From requirement input to matched-set delivery

Once the customer provides the machine model, engine or electrical parameters, cab structure dimensions and main operating environment, we complete the set selection. The process runs as follows:

  1. Requirement confirmation — machine model, power or engine parameters, cab dimensions and operating environment;
  2. Selection and configuration list — specifications, interfaces and quantities for the four core components and optional parts;
  3. Drawing confirmation — layout and interface drawings provided on request; the configuration is locked once both sides confirm;
  4. Assembly and verification — the set is assembled to the confirmed configuration and released for delivery only after testing and verification;
  5. Supply and technical support — complete-set or individual-part supply, with trial fitting and installation guidance on request.

5. Application scenarios

Q1: What does a complete set include?
