Stay Warm Without Idling the Engine: Holicen Introduces Three Diesel Parking Heaters (HLS-G0012L, HLS-L0015, HLS-H04)

Why Fuel-Burning Parking Heaters Dominate

Vehicle heaters fall into four categories by working principle. Electric heaters (PTC or resistance wire) are simple and cheap, but they draw heavily on the battery - a diesel truck parked overnight rarely has enough power. Heat pumps move heat rather than generate it and are efficient, yet output drops sharply in low temperatures, so electric backup is often still needed below freezing. Waste-heat systems reuse engine coolant or exhaust heat at zero fuel cost, but only work when the engine has just been running.

Fuel-burning diesel parking heaters solve all three problems: the fuel tank is the heat source, current draw from the battery is minimal, warm-up is fast, and they fit almost any vehicle. This is why they remain the mainstream choice for truck drivers, RV owners and fleets. Holicen now offers three complementary models covering portable, app-controlled and long-range split configurations.

Model 1: HLS-G0012L - 8KW Portable All-in-One, Ready Out of the Box

Heater, fuel tank and control system are integrated into a single portable case, so there is no complicated plumbing to install - connect the power and it runs. It suits owners who do not want to modify vehicle wiring and need heat wherever they park. Three power options are supported: 12V, 24V and 220V, so the unit runs from the vehicle on the road or from a 220V adapter in a garage or at home to pre-warm the cab and clear frost.

Rated at 8000W with fuel consumption of only 0.1-0.45 L/h, it operates from -50℃ to 70℃. The plastic-and-metal housing is built to take knocks, and the unit includes a low-fuel alarm, three-stage power protection, low noise, low vibration and complete combustion.

Model 2: HLS-L0015 - 5KW with Bluetooth App Control, Precise Temperature Holding

A 5000W output unit built around a Kyocera glow plug for reliable ignition and long service life. Temperature can be set from 8℃ to 36℃ (46℉-97℉) with a constant-temperature control system, and fan output is adjustable across 10 levels. A 2.5 m aluminium foil duct is included, so warm air can be routed exactly where it is needed. Wide 11-25V input suits most 12V and 24V systems; fuel consumption is 0.15-0.48 L/h and the working range is -40℃ to 50℃ (-40℉ to +122℉). The plastic housing keeps weight down and resists corrosion - a good match for RVs and MPVs where fine temperature control and easy operation matter most.

Model 3: HLS-H04 - Third-Generation Split Heater Built Around Fuel Savings

An 8000W split-type unit in a compact body (37.5 x 13.5 x 13 cm) that installs in a truck cab, RV compartment or tool box. Four upgrades define this generation:

● 30% fuel savings. The in-house patented precision-cast aluminium body and heat-absorbing fins raise thermal efficiency by 20%, while a multi-pulse smart fuel pump meters fuel precisely for complete combustion. In factory testing the exhaust outlet runs at 234℃ against 345℃ on the previous generation - 110℃ less waste heat going out of the pipe.

● Upgraded ignition. A silicon nitride glow plug ignites easily, lasts longer and is plug-and-play with no special tools.

● Bluetooth colour LCD controller and remote control. The screen shows live heating status and raises an alarm the moment a component misbehaves. The heater can be started remotely before the driver returns, clearing frost and warming the cab in advance. Constant temperature holds between 18℃ and 35℃.

● 10L fuel tank and six-fold protection. Fewer refills on long stays, plus protection against over-temperature, low battery, overheating, overcurrent, short circuit and fuel depletion, with the thermal cut-out set at 280℃.

Shared by All Three: Cold-Climate Proof, All-Diesel

All three models run on diesel, accept wide input voltage ranges and carry multiple safety protections. Test teams have validated the platform at -40℃ and above 5,000 m altitude: single-attempt ignition and stable operation. Applications cover trucks, RVs, MPVs, passenger cars, construction vehicles and boats.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do diesel parking heaters use a lot of fuel?

All three run between 0.1 and 0.5 litres per hour. The HLS-H04 saves roughly another 30% compared with ordinary heaters, making overnight parking far cheaper than idling the main engine.

Will it start at minus 30 or 40?

Yes. The HLS-L0015 uses a Kyocera glow plug and the HLS-H04 a silicon nitride glow plug, both paired with complete-combustion design. Both have been tested at -40℃ and 5,000 m with single-attempt ignition.

All-in-one or split type?

Choose the HLS-G0012L portable all-in-one if you want no installation and heat wherever you park; the HLS-L0015 if you want app control and fine temperature setting; the HLS-H04 split unit if you have a large cab and need a big tank for long unattended running.
